Rose M. Holzmann, age 74 of Elkhart Lake died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at Aurora/Sheboygan Memorial Medical Center. She was born October 6, 1938 in Fond du Lac to the late Anthony & Marie (Abler) Fox. Rose graduated from Goodrich High School in 1957. On June 15, 1963 she married Edward Holzmann at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Fond du Lac. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake. Rose enjoyed being around her grandchildren and liked going to dances. Survivors include her husband, Edward Holzmann of Elkhart Lake; son, Steven (Ginny) Holzmann of Elkhart Lake; daughter, Mary (Curt Jr.) Jackson of Sheboygan; four grandchildren, Kristi & Jessica Holzmann and Curt III & Tyler Jackson; sister, Zita Stinemates of Fond du Lac; in-laws, Larry (Irene) Holzmann, Ronald (Sandy) Holzmann, Stanley Holzmann, Roseann (Gene) Schweitzer, Richard (Sharon) Holzmann, and David (Lisa) Holzmann. She is preceded by her parents; brother, Bernard "Bernie" Fox and her sister, Margaret Nelson. A Liturgy of the Word Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at Sippel Funeral Home 2618 Altona Ave. New Holstein. Burial will be in the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Rhine. Family and friends may call at the Sippel Funeral Home on Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
