Rose E. Piepenburg, age 86, of 610 Madison Street in Brillion, passed away on Thursday morning, May 30, 2013 at St. Paul Home in Kaukauna. Rose was born on March 16, 1927 in Racine, WI, daughter of the late Albert and Marguerite (Boedecker) Carter. She was a graduate of Lincoln High School, class of 1945. On January 25, 1946, Rose married Robert "Bob" Suchan. He passed away in 1974. Then on February 19, 1977, she married Merlin Piepenburg. He also has passed away. Rose loved all sorts of puzzles and spending time with her family. She is survived by three children: David (JoAnne) Suchan of Reedsville, Steven (Barbara) Suchan of Florence, and Michael Suchan of Hilbert; three step-children: Wayne (Lynn) of Fond du Lac, Stanley (Julie) of Milwaukee, and Wendy of Greenleaf; grandchildren: Laura (John) of Oconto Falls, Kari of Reedsville, Jeff of Reedsville, Amy (Scott) of Kaukauna, Adam (Amy) of Tomahawk, Aaron (Annaliza) of TX, Jody (Matt) of Brillion and Andrea (Aric) of Hilbert, Mike (Michelle); step grandchilren: Yancy (GiGi), Corey (Heather), Amy (Beau), Ryan (Emily), Ali, and Avery; great-grandchildren: Deana, Natasha, and Marco, Connor, Lucas, Alandra, Addison, Ava; step great-grandchildren: Ellie and Tenley; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, her two husbands: Robert Suchan and Merlin Piepenburg, one step son-in-law: Don "Bear" Raduechel, two sisters and two brothers-in-law: Janet (Chuck) and Virginia (Norman) and one brother: Willy. A Memorial Service will take place at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. Rev. Dr. Marc Axelrod will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home in Brillion from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at 6:00 p.m. Memorials appreciated to the National Kidney Foundation.
