Roseann R. Horn, age 60, of St. Cloud, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 18, 2017, at her home after suffering a heart attack. Roseann Steiner was born November 25, 1956, at Calumet Memorial Hospital in Chilton to the late Isidore & Armella (Woelfel) Steiner. She graduated from New Holstein High School in 1975 and from Sacred Heart School of Nursing in Milwaukee in 1977 where she received her LPN degree. On October 22, 1977, she married Andrew "Andy" H. Horn at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary just recently with their children and grandchildren with a trip to Florida. Roseann and Andy lived in Plymouth briefly after their marriage before making their home in St. Cloud. She began her nursing career at Sheboygan Memorial Hospital before moving on to the Calumet Homestead and Villa Loretto Nursing Home. For the past 23 years, she worked with the Agnesian Clinic in Mount Calvary. "When you work in a small town clinic, everyone becomes more than just a patient; you are put into a nurse's heart and cared for deeply". Roseann was a former EMT with the Mount Calvary Ambulance Service for 10+ years and was the original organizer of the St. Cloud First Responders. She loved to camp, cheer on her beloved Badgers, tend to her flower beds, canning & gardening with her grandchildren and baking with them as well. Time spent with friends and family especially her grandchildren were priceless to her. Roseann had a way of adding her personal touch in helping others expecting nothing in return! Roseann is survived by her husband, Andy; her daughter, Pam (Chuck) Pierquet and their children, Quintin and Kylee of St. Cloud; her son, Jeff (Jill) Horn and their children, Jenna, Jaci, and Jacob of St. Cloud; her brothers, Ron (Sue) Steiner of Menasha, Dennis "Weiner" Steiner of rural New Holstein, and Peter (Bonnie) Steiner of rural Chilton; her sisters, Marlene (Steve) Hanke of Fond du Lac and Judy (Jim) Ehlenbeck of rural New Holstein; her brother-in-law, Gordy (Kathy) Horn of St. Cloud; and her sister-in-law, Phyllis "Tootie" (Jim) Koehler of rural New Holstein "Marytown". She is further survived by her godmother, Rita Unser; godchildren, Kevin Hanke and William Kudirko; uncles; aunts; nieces; nephews; numerous cousins; other relatives; and many friends. Preceding her in death were her parents, Isidore & Armella Steiner; her brother, Kenneth Steiner; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, David & Ludwina "Peggy" Horn, and a niece. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, November 25, 2017, at St. Isidore Parish-Holy Cross Church, 308 S. County Road W, Mount Calvary, WI 53057. Rev. Larry Abler, OFM Cap and Rev. Oliver Bambenek, OFM Cap will concelebrate. Visitation: Family and friends may visit with the family on Friday, November 24th from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein, WI 53061. Visitation will also take place Saturday morning at Sippel Funeral Home in St. Cloud, 1311 Thorp Street, St. Cloud, WI 53079 from 8:30 AM until 10:15 AM. PLEASE NOTE, the visitation is at the funeral home in New Holstein on Friday afternoon/evening and at the funeral home in St. Cloud Saturday morning.
