Rosella "Sally" L. Rietbrock Bonlander, age 90, of New Holstein died Monday, November 8, 2010, at the Homestead Care Center in New Holstein. She was born October 27, 1920 in Antigo to the late Matthias and Mary (Schmidt) Jansen. On May 15, 1937, she married Ruben Rietbrock. He preceded her in death on July 22, 1974. On May 20, 1977, she married John Bonlander. John preceded her in death on May 5, 2004. Sally had worked at Flexiclogs, Kestell Furniture, and retired from Tecumseh in 1985 after 25 years of service. She enjoyed camping, bowling, golfing, traveling, card clubs, bingo, dancing, and doing crafts. Survivors include her children, Eugene (Terrie) Rietbrock of Culver, KS and Karen (Harry) Jaschob of New Holstein; her step children, Mary Jane Hoffmann and her fiancé, James Bogenschuetz of Sheboygan, Delores (Bernard) Karls of Green Bay, Vernon (Karen) Bonlander of New Holstein, Carol (Jim) Schleh of New Holstein, and Marge (Gary) Lilyquist of New Holstein; 11 Grandchildren; 21 Great-grandchildren; 3 Great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Laverne Vichich of Milwaukee; a sister-in-law, Florence Rietbrock of Elkhart Lake and nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her parents; her first husband, Ruben Rietbrock; her second husband, John Bonlander; three brothers; three sisters-in-law; a brother-in-law and a step son-in-law. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 Noon on Saturday, November 13, 2010, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street in New Holstein. Rev. Harold Berryman will officiate. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Family and friends may call at the church on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
