Royal W. Becker, age 86 of Brillion died on Tuesday April 14, 2015 at Peabody Manor in Appleton. He was born on April 9, 1929 in the Town of Brillion, son of the late Henry & Emma (Ramberg) Becker. He married Betty Aplin at Peace Church in Potter. Royal served in the U.S. Army Air Corps and was stationed in Fairbanks Alaska and worked on the Alcan Highway. He was later employed at Kimberly Clark until his retirement and was a member of Peace Evangelical & Reformed Church in Potter. Survivors include his wife Betty, his children, Gwenn (Gordon) Salonen of Winchester, Faye (Richard) Nevenhoven of Franklin, IN, Randy (Kim) Becker of Reedsville, David (Julie) Becker of Hortonville, Heather (Bill) Johnson of Minocqua, 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and a sister-in-law Irma Becker of Rapid City, SD. Royal was preceded in death by a son Robin, 2 brothers Jerome and Lance, and a sister Mildred Pritzl. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday April 19 at Peace Evangelical & Reformed Church in Potter. The Rev. Dr. Marc Axelrod will officiate.
