Ruth E. Mitchell, age 83, of New Holstein died peacefully surrounded by family, Friday August 5, 2011 at Willowdale Nursing Home in New Holstein, WI. She was born January 19, 1928 in Waukesha to the late Alvin & Elsie (Buckau) Brook. Survivors include her five children, Roger (Laurie) Peters of Cascade, Marion Peters of Stockbridge, Joanne (Gordon) Goebel of Kiel, Dale (Jane) Peters of Cascade, David Peters of Arkansas, and a son-in-law, Ronald Schreiber of Kiel; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; her sister, Ginny Harris of Waukesha; and her brother, Donald (Ann) Brook of Waukesha. Preceding her in death were her parents; First Husband, Leon Peters; Second Husband, Ralph Mitchell; Daughter, Joyce Schreiber; a Grandson; and a Brother, Cyril Brook. Per Ruth's wishes there will be no services. The family extends a thank you to Willowdale Nursing Home staff members, Dr. David Deubler and the Hospice Nurses for their care given to Ruth.
