Ryan Christopher Wenzel, age 32, of Sherwood, WI, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022, while on a North Dakota Duck Hunting trip with his family.

Ryan was born September 18, 1990, in Appleton WI. He was the son of Stephen and the late Jill (Hallada) Wenzel. He graduated from Menasha High School in 2008 and attended UW Stout.

Ryan was loved by many and will always be fondly remembered for his wonderful character and kind heart. He was an avid Packer fan and outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and attending Packer games with his family and friends, especially deer hunting at the Wenzel Cabin on Pine Lake and Fishing Trips to Canada. He truly enjoyed the time spent with his Dad, uncles and cousins (who were more like brothers) on their many trips together.

He is survived by his father, Steve; his maternal Grandmother Sherry Hallada; his paternal grandparents Ken & Lois Wenzel; aunts and uncles, Scott & Jayne Wenzel, Jeff Wenzel, Kathy & Ron Lefeber, Eric & Kelly Wenzel and John Hallada. He is also survived by his cousins, Logan Wenzel, Meg Wenzel, Connor, Arinn & daughter Aria Wenzel, Chris & Emily Lefeber, Cade, Candyce & daughter Sofia Lefeber, Claire & Anthony LaTour, Kelsey Wenzel & Aaron, Patrick & Mia Wenzel, Clare Kutil (Fiancé Justin Knode) & sons Easton & Levi, Rachel Kutil & son Noah. Ryan is further survived by many other friends and relatives.

He is preceded by his mother, Jill; maternal Grandfather, Jerry Hallada; Uncle, Jeff Hallada and Aunt, Julie Hallada.

A Memorial Service will be held for family and friends of Ryan's at 6:00 PM on Thursday, October 13, 2022, at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein, Wisconsin 53061.

Family and Friends may visit with Ryan's family prior to services from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM at the Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein.

Ryan was a loving son, cousin, grandson and friend to many. He has left each of us with many wonderful memories. We will miss him greatly.
