Scott Groh age 54, of Mayville passed away on Saturday December 23, 2023.

Scott was born on September 8, 1969 to the late Edward and Betty (Mathes) Groh. Scott graduated from New Holstein High School in 1988. After graduation Scott departed for the United States Army where he served as a Field Artillery Surveyor. Scott also defended our country by fighting in the Gulf War, also known as Operation Desert Storm. Wherever life took Scott he would proudly fly the American flag and was one of the truest Americans whom loved his country.

After the service Scott did mostly factory work and most recently enjoyed cutting firewood and helping his brother Christ in Coloma where he would spend most of his time.

Although Scott never had children of his own, he would treat his nieces and nephews as well as any other children like they were his own.

Scott is survived by his brothers and sisters, Debra (John) Uelmen of Hancock, Christ (Dawn) Groh of Mayville, Terry (Barb) Groh of Elkhart Lake, Edward "Sparky" (Cathy) Groh of Kaukauna, and Kelly Schmitz of Waldo. He is also survived my many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

Scott was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Betty Groh, two brothers Mark Groh, Steven Groh, a sister Traci Reseburg and nephew Brandon Groh.

The family would like to thank the Marshfield Medical Center of Beaver Dam as well as Hillside Hospice for their care of Scott over the past few months and especially the last few weeks.

Per Scott's request, there will be no funeral or burial. The family would love to hear your stories and memories of Scott at a Celebration of Life that will be held at the American Legion Post #124, 1922 Wisconsin Ave, New Holstein, WI 53061 on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 1PM -4PM.
