Shane C. Jeffers

Shane C. Jeffers, age 40, an Appleton resident, died Friday, December 11, 2020 at St. Elizabeth Hospital, Appleton. He was born on January 26, 1980 in Cuba City, WI., son of Brian Jeffers and Carol (Mowbray) Greenwell. Shane graduated from Wisconsin School for the Deaf in Delavan, WI in 1998.  He worked a variety of jobs over the years and was owner of Wicked Decals 17. Shane enjoyed disc golf, reading and sports, especially the Packers. He had the biggest heart of anyone we knew and was always willing to help others. Shane also enjoyed playing poker and had a wicked sense of humor.  Survivors include his mother: Carol (Mark) Greenwell, Janesville; his father: Brian (Megan) Jeffers, Cottage Grove; a brother: Sam (Mariah) Jeffers, nephew: Aaron; niece: Mira; very special significant other: Tiffany Besaw-Benz; grandparents: Mary & Ray Hartz; uncles: Paul (Julie) Mowbray, Michael (Lisa Mowbray), Doug (Lisa) Hartz; cousins: Courtney, Alex, Will, Brianna, Patrick and Jen; and special pups: Cookie Paw and Pepper. He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Carl and Anita (Wright) Mowbray. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic no funeral services will be held at this time. Online condolences may be made. The Pielhop Wieting Funeral Homes of Brillion & Reedsville is assisting the family.
