Sharon "Shari" A. Schad, 64, of New Holstein, passed away Sunday, November 20, 2011 at home with loving family by her side.
The former Sharon Welsch was born June 2, 1947 in Appleton. She was the daughter of Helen (Eckes) Welsch & the late Henry Welsh.
She attended St. Joseph Grade School in Appleton and graduated from Xavier High School.
On June 29, 1985 she married Gary Schad in New Holstein.
Sharon worked as an Administrative Assistant at various hospitals most recently at Appleton Medical Center until retiring due to illness.
She was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein.
Survivors include: her husband, Gary of New Holstein; two sons, Jon Jacklin and Brian Jacklin both of Minneapolis, MN; a step-daughter, Jennifer (Luke) Peery of Platteville, WI; a step-son, Derek (Cassie) Schad of Stanley, WI; her mother, Helen Welsch of Appleton; two granddaughters, Taryn & Lillian; a grandson, Riley; and her sister Bonnie Durham of Neenah.
Preceding her in death was her father, Henry Welsch; a son, Jeff Jacklin; and her brother-in-law Charles Durham.
A Memorial service will be held at 6:00 PM on Friday, November 25, 2011 at the Sippel Funeral Home 2618 Altona Ave. in New Holstein
Family and friends may call at the Sippel Funeral Home in New Holstein Friday from 3:00 PM until the time of services.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established in her name at a later date.
