Shirley Mae Fischer, age 75, of Brillion, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, April 7, 2014 at her home. She was born on November 16, 1938 in Reedsville, daughter of the late John and Viola (Pantzlaff) Bubolz. On July 26, 1958, Shirley married Al Fischer in Reedsville. She worked at the Ariens Co in Brillion and Humpty Dumpty Eggs until her retirement. She was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Collins. Shirley is survived by her husband Al; their children: Joy Piepenburg and special friend Andy Schroeder of Menasha, Jean (Rick) Nicklaus of Collins, Jeff (Kay) Fischer of Brillion, Jerome (Sharon) Fischer of Brillion, and Jody (Scott) Mullard of Chilton; grandchildren: Ruben (Linda) Piepenburg, Trista (Andy) Schlies, Jordan Piepenburg and fiancé Brandon Miller, Davitt Piepenburg and special friend Sammy Jo, Dedra Piepenburg and special friend Tony, Craig Nicklaus, Kurt (Beth) Nicklaus, Kimberly (Mark) Ross, Erin (Travis) Zutz, Lauren (Todd) Resch, Elizabeth Fischer and fiancé Tom Horn, Jacob Fischer and special friend Jennifer, Benjamin Mullard and Heather Mullard; six great-grandchildren; two sisters: Lorna Bastian and Joann Fischer; one brother and four sisters-in-law: Glen (Liegh) Bubolz, Pat Bubolz, Marge Steffes, and Vernetta Zutz; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her father-in-law and mother-in-law: Robert and Helen Fischer, one brother: Ken Bubolz, and four brothers-in-law: Kermit Bastian, Orville Fischer, Dave Steffes and Gerald Zutz. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11, 2014 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Collins. Officiating is the Rev. Ross Henzi with burial to follow at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2014.
