Shirley E. Pilgrim, age 69, of Brillion, passed away on April 29, 2014 at Appleton Healthcare Center. Shirley was born on July 27, 1944 in Kewaunee, daughter of the late Elmer and Doris (Kittell) Pilgrim. She graduated from Kewaunee High School, class of 1962. Shirley worked at Mirro Aluminum Foundry in Manitowoc, Algoma Hardwood (not Olsonite), was an in home healthcare provider in Sturgeon Bay, Algoma, and Santa Fe, New Mexico, and currently managed properties in Brillion for Murphy Development. Survivors include her siblings: John (Donna) Pilgrim of Luxemburg, Bev Frank of Denmark, and LuAnn (Earl) Krueger; brother-in-law: Victor Marshek of Hilbert; nieces and nephews: Kelly (Roger) Ruffing, Scott Marshek, Kim (Terry) Vande Hey, Carrie (Jeff) Behnke, Shawn (Michelle) Abts, Shelly (Steve) Tenor, Steve (Robin) Abts, Kevin Pilgrim, Kay (Michael) Jeanquart, Keith Pilgrim, Tim (Trish) Frank, Todd (Jessica) Frank, Chris (Michele) Huebner, Joe (Ginger) Kline, Chad (fiancé Casey Odegard) Kline, Jesse Kline, Aaron (Amy) Huebner, Nicole (Ryan) Zimmerman, Melissa Meekins, Mike Jalowiec, and Sheila (Dan) Rine; great nieces; great nephews; friends: Mark, Maricel, Jenna, and Jegerek Lewandowski; and other friends. She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Charlotte Marshek, Joan (Bob) Abts, Lana Jalowiec, and Gary Frank; two nephews: Troy Abts and Derek Kline; and one great-nephew: Caleb Meekins.
