Stevin Eugene Robinson, age 48, of New Holstein passed away on Wednesday, July 27th at UW Wisconsin, Madison, from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle crash. He was born April 9th, 1974, in Chicago, Illinois to Anthony and Cora Robinson. He graduated from Fond du Lac High school in January of 1993. He enlisted in the Marine Corps shortly after where he received a Rifle Marksman Badge, National Defense Service Medal, and a Sea Service Deployment Ribbon. After his time in the service, Steven went on to earn an Associate of Applied Science Degree in both Information Technology – Support Specialist and Information Technology – Network Specialist. At his time of death, he was employed by Kwik Trip in the Food Service Department. He often stated how much he enjoyed his job as well as his co-workers there. He had said that of all the places he had lived, the little city of New Holstein was the place that felt most like home to him. He enjoyed many activities and hobbies. His love of Marvel and DC Comics, Star Wars, and the game Destiny showed his nerdy side. He could also be found spending time with his friends and was often at Kings Korners in New Holstein where he shot on their pool league for several years. He was quick witted, had a devious and sometimes dark sense of humor and always had a snappy comeback or joke to make people laugh. He especially found himself to be hilarious! He was always willing to be there as best he could for those who were close to him. Anyone who knew Steve, knew he had a life-long love affair with food, and he was quite the cook himself (At least that's what he told himself and anyone who would listen). He was an avid Bears fan (One of his biggest downfalls). So, feel free to have a shot of Jack and a "Bush Latte" as he called it the next time they win. Although don't hold your breath waiting for that one! In the words of Steven Robinson – "Love, Peace, and Chicken Grease!" Survivors include his sons Tevin Rae Robinson of Milwaukee and Nicholas John Schramm Blake of Fond du Lac, his sister Mariane (Christopher) of Atlanta Georgia, his brother Isaiah (Diana) Garrison, as well as many other cousins, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Anthony T. Robinson and Cora Leigh Robinson, sisters Paula Renee Starnes and Antoinette Garrison, and brother Anthony T. Garrison. Although he did not want a formal funeral service, there will be a Celebration of Life and buffet style luncheon held in Steven's honor on Saturday August 20th from 12-3PM with a small blessing at 1PM.
