Terrance "Terry" Riemer

Terrance “Terry” A. Riemer, age 74, a resident of Brillion, passed away on Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay.

Terry was born on December 2, 1947 in Medford, WI, son of the late Harry and Carol (Raasch) Riemer. He was a graduate of Red Cloud High School in Nebraska. Terry served in the United States Navy from 1966 – 1970. On May 12, 1973 he married the former Beverly “Bev” J. Bruegge at Evangelical United Brethren Church in Lark. Terry worked for 47 years at Brillion Iron Works until his retirement in 2013. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, his bird feeders, and being in bowling leagues in his younger years.

Survivors include his wife: Bev Riemer; their two children: Amy (Frank) Riemer-Hermans, Nathan (Kathi) Riemer, all of Brillion; his grandchildren: Darien, Harrison, Jack, Vivian, Jillian, Logan and Mason; his step-grandchildren: Austin, Blake and Katrina; his siblings: Margie (Kirby) Carpenter, Green Bay, Michael (Deb) Riemer, Medford, Bonita Riemer, Green Bay, Russell (Tracy) Riemer, Marysville, OH, Patrick Riemer, Green Bay; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Norman Peters, Suamico, Darlene Smits, DePere, Linda Bruegge, DePere, David Bruegge, Green Bay, Becky (Gary) Oeder, Green Bay, Deb (Keith) Ott, DePere, and Daniel (Gail) Bruegge, Greenleaf. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father: Howard Grunwald; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Gerald and Eunice (Schneider) Bruegge; a sister: Sandra Peters; and brothers-in-law: Michael Smits and Dennis Bruegge.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at Faith United Methodist in Brillion. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Dale Eggert.  Military Honors will be accorded by the Becker, Bloedorn, Jensen Post #126 of Brillion.

Friends may call at the church on Tuesday morning from 9:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.

The Pielhop Wieting Funeral Homes of Brillion and Reedsville are assisting the family with funeral arrangements.

Terry’s family would like to thank the staff at Bellin Hospital and Unity Hospice for the tender care and sensitivity they showed Terry and his family during his final days.
