Terrie L. (Vanne) Sabel, age 66, of Marytown (rural New Holstein), passed away with her loving family at her side, on Wednesday, February 28, 2024, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Appleton.

She was born November 30, 1957, in Two Rivers to the late Donald & Carol (Jost) Vanne. Terrie graduated from Chilton High School in 1976. On June 28, 1986, she married Mark Sabel at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Chilton.

Terrie began her working career at Tecumseh Engine Products in New Holstein and then at Mr. C's in Chilton, where she enjoyed interacting with people. In 1996, she and her husband purchased their farm near Marytown and became employed with S&S Dairy.

Terrie had a permanent campsite at Westward Ho Campground South of St. Cloud where again she was in the moment with socializing with the other campers. She enjoyed playing cards with her family and friends. Terrie also was an avid watcher of the Green Bay Packer games, especially when her grandchildren were with her to watch the game as well.

She was a member of Our Lady of the Holyland Parish-St. Mary's Site in Marytown.

Terrie is survived by her husband, Mark; her two children, Josh Sabel of Chilton and Karen (Kevin) Dresang of Chilton; six grandchildren, Dominic, Jackson, and Leland Sabel, Kyle, Kaden, and Kenzie Dresang; her sisters and brother, Peggy Vanne of Chilton, Deb Gau of St. Cloud, Annette (Dennis) Feldman of Plymouth, Mary (Ray) Stafford of South Carolina, Sue (Jim) Yerkman of Chilton, Laurie (Leighton) Blasing of Virginia, Keith (Sue) Vanne of Chilton, and Becky (Duane) See of Chilton; her brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Patty Vanne of Chilton, Ken (Roseann) Sabel of Mt. Calvary, Dan (Patsy) Sabel of Valders, Mary Mooney of Sheboygan, Steve (Janice) Sabel of Johnsburg "rural Malone", Pat Sabel of New Holstein, Dennis (Kim) Sabel of North Fond du Lac, Randy Sabel (friend, Rhonda) of Neenah, Jeff (Kelly) Sabel of Marytown "rural New Holstein", and Kevin (Cathy) Sabel of Plymouth. Terrie is further survived by many nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Donald & Carol Vanne; five brothers, Gerry Vanne, Del Vanne, Mike Vanne, and infant twins, Peter & Paul; her brother-in-law, Peter Gau; her father-in-law & mother-in-law, Elmer & Marcelline Sabel; and two sisters-in-law, Laurel Sabel and Karen Gean Sabel.

A Liturgy Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Our Lady of the Holyland Parish-St. Mary's site in Marytown (N10232 County Road G, New Holstein, WI 53061). Rev. Paul Koenig will officiate.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Terrie's family at the church in Marytown on Saturday morning, March 9th from 9:00 AM until 12:30 PM.
