Thomas J. Ausloos, 81, formerly of St. Cloud, WI & Crivitz, WI, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 7, 2017, at Willowpark Place in New Holstein.
Tom was born July 9, 1935 to Hildegard Dietz. He was adopted by Joseph P. & Lucilla K. (Dietz) Ausloos of St. Cloud. He attended St. Cloud Catholic Grade School and New Holstein High School. Tom served in U.S. Airforce.
On May 4, 1957, he married Luella "Lou" J. (Koenigs) Kohlmann. Lou preceded him in death on October 27, 2009.
Tom had worked at Kohler Co. and later on, he worked for the Fond du Lac County Highway Department until retiring.
He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Amberg and a former member of St. Cloud Catholic Church.
Survivors include his six children, Daniel (Cyndy) Kohlmann, Phil Ausloos, Mary Birschbach, Karen (Dave) Christel, Joe (Stacey) Ausloos, and Jayne (Norb) Engel; 14 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his sister, Pat (Eugene "Bill") Will; and his brother, Robert (Peggy) Ausloos; his sisters-in-law, Phyllis Ausloos, Barbara Merten, Marilyn (Leland) Alley, Jackie Anderson, and Judy (Eugene) Winkel; his brothers-in-law, John (Lynn) Koenigs, Paul (Katie) Koenigs, Peter (Susan) Koenigs, and James Koenigs. Tom is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.
Preceding him in death were his mother, Hildegard (Tony) Ramos; his adoptive parents, Joseph P. & Lucilla K. Ausloos; his wife, Luella; his son, David Ausloos; a granddaughter, Abby; his brothers, Dick (Doris) Dietz and Cyril Ausloos.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 5:00 PM on Monday, April 17, 2017, at St. Isidore Parish-St. Cloud Church, 924 Main Street, St. Cloud, WI 53079. Rev. Larry Abler, OFM Cap will officiate. Military Rites will take place following the mass. Burial will follow in the St. Cloud Catholic Cemetery.
Per Tom's wishes, there will be no visitation prior to the mass at the church.
