Thomas W. Rieder, age 63, of Fond du Lac, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, December 21, 2017, at Harbor Haven Nursing Facility in Fond du Lac. He was born in Fond du Lac on September 1, 1954, to the late Walter B. & Henrietta A. (Schmitt) Rieder. Tom is survived by his sister, Marian Blazer and her fiance', Orv Jaeger, of North Fond du Lac; his four brothers, James (Chris) Rieder of Sheboygan, Gene (Shirley) Rieder of St. Cloud, Francis Rieder & special friend, Ivonne Hau, of Mount Calvary, and Joseph (Karen) Rieder of Fond du Lac. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Private family services will be held at Sippel Funeral Home in St. Cloud. Tom will be laid to rest in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Mount Calvary this coming spring.
