Thomas "Tom" G. Schwartz, age 84, of New Holstein, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022, at ABridge Care Cottage of Chilton where he resided since January of 2021.

He was born January 22, 1938, to Anthony & Margaret (Endries) Schwartz. Tom attended school at St. Martin's Catholic School in Hayton and graduated from Chilton High School. Tom enlisted in the Army after graduation serving his country for 4 years.

Tom worked at various jobs after serving in the Army and was employed with the Calumet County Highway Department for 27 years until his retirement. After retiring, he worked as a part-time truck driver for the New Hope Center in Chilton for 12 years.

On November 15, 1969, he married Mary Agnes (Mueller) Krebsbach.

Tom is survived by his wife, Mary; six children, Paul Schwartz, Peter (Terri) Schwartz of Sheboygan, and Eric Schwartz of New Holstein; step-children, Steven (Laurie) Krebsbach of Kiel, Lori Ann Haugesag of Bloomington, MN, and Scott Krebsbach of New Holstein; 14 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; his sister, Kathy (Bill) Schuh of Valders; and his brother, Mike (Monica) Schwartz of Valders.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Anthony & Margaret Schwartz; his step-son, Allan Krebsbach; and two brothers, Jim & Fred.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:30 AM on Monday, September 12, 2022, at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein, WI 53061. Tom will be laid to rest in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by State Military Honors and New Holstein American Legion Post 124.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Tom's family at the funeral home Monday morning, September 12th from 9:00 AM until 11:15 AM.
