Trent Steven Rusch

Trent Steven Rusch, age 16, of Brillion, passed away in his sleep on Monday, November 27, 2017 at his home.

He was born on November 14, 2001 to Corey Rusch and Shannon (Mattson) Kopenen.  Trent attended Brillion High School, and was in his sophomore year.  His favorite class was Tech Ed.  He loved playing video games, especially WWE Wrestling where he could tell you every guy that was good or bad.  Trent also enjoyed reading, listening to music, camping, shooting, fishing, and attending car shows with his Grandpa.  He wore his heart on his sleeve.  The most important thing to him was his great love for his family and friends.  After a work weekend with Grandpa, he enjoyed the time spent going out to eat together, especially for Marko’s Smokin’ BBQ and ice cream.  Trent was a member of Brillion Community Church and attended Awana bible study.

He is survived by his Dad, Corey (Kathy Beaulieu) Rusch and son Ashtyn Beaulieu; his Mom Shannon (Marcus) Kopenen and children: Kendra, Ben, Aleena, Mason, and Adalynn; Grandparents: Steven and Peggy Rusch, Jack and Kelly Beaulieu, Susan Bertall, Janet Bergner, and Steve Spelbring; Great-Grandma, Arlene Gates; godparents: Pat Hau, Ryan Daul, and Tina Byrge; and many aunts and uncles.  He is preceded by his great-grandparents and other family members.

Funeral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Brillion Community Church.  Rev. Sam Timm will officiate.  Burial will be in EUB Cemetery in Rantoul.

Friends may call at Brillion Community Church on Friday night, December 1, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.  The visitation will continue on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m.
