Obituary

Victoria "Vickie" Rose (Lulloff) Pethan, age 59, of New Holstein, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, with her loving family at her side. Vickie Lulloff was born April 22, 1958, in Manitowoc, to Joyce (Koeppen) Lulloff and the late Roman Lulloff. She graduated from Kiel High School in 1976. On November 8, 1980, she married Paul R. Pethan at Saint's Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Kiel. Vickie enjoyed serving others. She had been in the food service industry all of her life; beginning at Cal's Coffee Shop in Kiel, and for the past 15 years with the New Holstein High School lunch program. Vickie and her husband, Paul, established Pethan's Refrigeration & Air Conditioning in New Holstein on July 1, 1983. She was the secretary of the business as well as her husband's behind the scene helper. Her most important job was raising their two young daughters, Martina Leigh and Kristin Marie. Being #5 out of a family of 15 children, Vickie knew what it was like to be in the care taking role, and she was damn good at it! Spending time with her family was what Vickie treasured most. There was always something to look forward to, whether it be "Knots at Pott's", Hal-O-Ramas (with bottomless cups of coffee), or gala festivities at the Pethan pool. Everyone who knew Vickie knew she had an amazing imagination, one of the many reasons she was such a wonderful Grandma. Listening to her stories, playing any made-up game and delicious treats were what her grandkids always looked forward to. She lived for her grandchildren and they were the light of her life. Vickie is survived by her husband, Paul; her two daughters, Martina Leigh (Matt) Stevens of Greenfield, WI and their children, Vela Marie and Vincent Michael Stevens and Kristin Marie (Jesse) Schneider of St. Cloud and their children, Graci Sophia and Adelie Rae Schneider; her mother, Joyce Lulloff; her brothers and sisters, John Lulloff, Jim (Ramona), Joan (Ron) Staats, Dina (Dick) Hersey, Charlie (Kathy) Lulloff, Mary (Russell) Bonde, Jean Lulloff (David Scroggins), Daniel Lulloff (Patrick Uselding), David Lulloff (Cody Grizzoffi), Jill (Robert) Rutten and Peggy Smith; her sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Merlin (Deannie) Pethan, Mary (Stan) Genslak, Joe (Debbie) Pethan, Roger Pethan and Charlotte Pethan. She is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her Dad, Roman Lulloff, sister, Diane Lulloff, brother, Paul Lulloff, sister, Susie Lulloff, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gib and Lydia Pethan, brother-in-law, Gene Pethan. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, April 23, 2018, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street, New Holstein, WI 53061. Vickie will be laid to rest in the Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation: Family and friends may greet the family at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein, WI on Sunday, April 22nd from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM.
