Walter "Wally" Wesener

Walter Wally Wesener, age 66, of 539 Fairway Dr., Brillion died unexpectedly on Sat. May 8, 2010 at his home. He was born on Oct. 13, 1943 in Green Bay, son of the late Walter & Ruth (Ahrens) Wesener. He married Sandra Luelloff on May 2, 1964 in Collins. Wally worked at the Brillion Iron Works for 46 years, retiring in 2007. He was an avid Packer fan and loved to do woodworking and gardening, but most of all he loved spending time at the lake with family and friends. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. Survivors include his wife Sandy, 2 daughters, Kim Wesener of Buffalo Grove, IL, Kelly Wesener of DeKalb, IL, 2 sisters Iva Haelfrisch of Brillion, Leona Popp of Neenah, and a brother-in-law Harry Bessert of Reedsville. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Norma Plate, a sister-in-law Rhoda Bessert, 3 brothers-in-law Ray Haelfrisch, Marvin Popp, and Merlin Plate. Funeral service will be held on Thur. May 13th at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Brillion. The Rev. Jonathan Beourman will officiate. Burial will be in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Brillion. Friends may call at the Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion on Wed. from 4-8 p.m. and then at the church on Thur. from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
