Warren P. Niquette, 60, of New Holstein died Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at the Sharon S. Richardson Hospice in Sheboygan Falls with his family at his side.
He was born January 17, 1951 to Cyril & Cyrilla (Becker) Niquette. Warren graduated from New Holstein High School in 1969.
He served active duty in the Army and later in the Army Reserves from 1971-1977. On November 14, 1980, he married Christine Burg. Warren was employed with Tecumseh Engine Products in New Holstein from 1970-2006 and later on was employed with Bordens in Plymouth.
He was a member of the New Holstein American Legion Post 124.
Survivors include his daughter, Amanda Niquette and her fiancé, Tom Krempley of Round Lake Park, IL; his son, Adam Niquette of New Holstein; his step-son, Tim (Robin) Champeau and their children, Taylor & Caeley of Jackson, WI; Warren's special friend, Donna Rausch of New Holstein and her children, Dawn Rausch and her special friend, Jake Beyer and Danielle (Jon) Diedrich; his parents, Cyril & Cyrilla Niquette of New Holstein; his brothers, Charles (Elayne) Niquette of New Holstein, Daniel (Sharron) Niquette of Cleveland, WI, and David Niquette of Kiel; and his sisters, Patricia (Allen) Valkie of the Bahamas, and Linda Reinl of Darboy.
Preceding him in death were his sister, Debra Niquette; his paternal grandparents, Gilbert & Laura (Ausloos) Niquette; and his maternal grandparents, Anthony & Erma (Wendel) Becker.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:30 AM on Saturday, February 26, 2011 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 1724 Madison Street in New Holstein. Rev. Harold Berryman will preside. A gathering of family and friends will take place at the church Saturday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
Military Rites conducted by the New Holstein American Legion Post 124 will be conducted at the church following the Memorial Mass.
