William (Bill) J. Schultz, age 80, of New Holstein, passed away at his home on Monday, October 24, 2022.

He was born August 30, 1942, in Manitowoc to the late Charles & Gertrude (Blashka) Schultz. Bill graduated from Kiel High School in 1960.

On June 19, 1974, he married Leah VanGorder in Box Elder, South Dakota; Leah preceded him in death on March 15, 2011.

Bill had started working at E&S Trucking in Kiel. In 1975, he started working at CD Smith as a crane operator until 1998.

He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in New Holstein.

Survivors include his stepson, Emmett (Brenda) VanGorder of Sturgeon Bay: his grandchildren, Ashley Primley, Adam VanGorder, Brooke, Courtney, Josh, Alanna, and Chloe Koslowski; a great-grandson, Connor; great-granddaughter, Paisley; his sister, Dorothy Hurley of Manitowoc; his brother, Ben (Kathy) Schultz of Kiel. He is further survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives; and friends.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, Leah; his parents, Charles & Gertrude Schultz, brother, Daniel Schultz; and his sister, Ann Mcdonell.

A Memorial Service will be held at 12:30 PM on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at the Sippel Funeral Home, 2618 Altona Avenue, New Holstein, WI 53061. Inurnment will take place in Holy Rosary Catholic Cemetery.

Visitation: Family and friends may visit with Bill's family at the Sippel Funeral Home on Saturday, October 29th from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM.
