William David Muthig

William "Bill" David Muthig, Sr. age 65, of 143 Pine Street in Brillion, died Tuesday, August 14, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born December 5, 1946 in Clintonville, son of the late Francis & Viola (Otto) Muthig. On December 9, 1967 he married Carolyn E. Westerhouse. Bill worked at a couple of different places, the longest being the Ariens Co. in Brillion for 14 years. He was a member of St Bartholomew Lutheran Church in Brillion. Survivors include his wife of 45 years: Carolyn, Two sons and one daughter-in-law: William and Julie Muthig Jr. of Newport News, VA and Timothy James Muthig of Brillion; one grandson Christopher David Muthig; One Brother Robert "Bob"(Darline) Sr. of Shiocton; One Sister: Marilyn Verbockel of Shiocton; and a Sister-in-law: Carolyn K. Muthig of Green Bay; also Two brother-in-laws: Ronald(Marjorie) of Fond du Lac, James(Barbara) of Manassas, VA; and numerous nieces and nephews; He was proceeded in death by his parents, Brother: Albert, Brother-in-Law: Henry Verbockel and his in-laws. Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Wednesday afternoon, August 22, 2012 at Wieting Funeral Home in Brillion. Officiating at the service will be Rev. Mark Krueger. Cremation has taken place. The visitation will continue after the service at the funeral home on Wednesday until 7:00 PM. In Lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated.
