Erick R. Paschen

Erick R. Paschen, age 78, of Brillion, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, August 17, 2025 surrounded by family.

Erick was born on November 16, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois, son of the late Raymond & Aileen (LaFrancis) Paschen.  The family moved from Chicago to Mundelein where Erick graduated from Mundelein High School, class of 1965.  Erick proudly served our country in the United States Navy serving a tour of duty in Vietnam.  He later married his love Judy, and they moved to Wisconsin to enjoy the outdoors.  Erick had a career as a draftsman and retired in Brillion.  Erick was an avid stamp collector, enjoyed building model boats and Navy ships, and loved Clint Eastwood movies.  He also enjoyed attending the American Legion Post 126 meetings at Ethel’s Pub in Brillion where he was a member.  Above all, Erick loved his family and spending time with them.

Erick is survived by his siblings:  Diane Contine, Tim, Tom (Lee Anne), and Brett; in-laws: Linda Gruber; nieces and nephews: Richard (Marie) Scherger, Ty (Shantil), Lauren (Todd) Silver, Kevin (Melody); great-nieces and great-nephews: Ethan, Serenity, Logan, Duncan, Zoe, and Callie; great-great-niece: Violet; other relatives, and friends.

A funeral service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 21, 2025 at Pielhop Funeral Home in Brillion.  Military Rites will be accorded by the Becker, Bloedorn, Jensen American Legion Post 126 of Brillion.  Inurnment will be at Central Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery in King, Wisconsin.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the time of sharing and Military Rites.
